Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster (1988-Present)

Model info: The Clapton Signature Stratocaster looks a lot like the Strat Plus due to the Lace Sensor pickups, but it has Clapton appointments such as a blocked tremolo (vintage style bridge), soft V neck profile, and EC's signature decal on the headstock. Pickups will change to Vintage Noiseless in 2001.

Notes: The Clapton Signature model kicks off Fender's run of endorsement Stratocasters, which will prove very popular overall.
