The ’65 Stratocaster Relic is an exact reproduction of the original, using the same techniques and tooling, right down to the “thinskin” finish, narrow dot spacing and ’65 transition headstock logo. Even the pickups have been duplicated to the exact specs of the original. The distinctive neck shape and “round-lam” fingerboard construction further replicate one of Fender’s finest instruments. This guitar has been given the “Relic” treatment—built to show years of natural wear and tear; with nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts.
