Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster (1988-Present)


Model info: The Malmsteen Signature Stratocaster featured a 22-fret maple or rosewood scalloped fretboard, a brass nut, the American Standard vibrato, chrome hardware, Malmsteen's signature decal on the headstock, DiMarzio HS-3 pickups in neck and middle positions with an American Standard single coil pickup in bridge position, and active electronics, in its original configuration which was made from 1988 to 1998. From 1998 until the present (shown below), the fretboard has 21 frets, large CBS-era style headstock, vintage vibrato, Schaller F tuners, pre-aged chrome hardware, DiMarzio YJM single coil pickups in neck and middle position and a DiMarzio HS-3 in bridge position, and, a 3-way pickup selector switch.
