Ash body weighs 4.2 lbs. The holes left by the nails that were used during the original finishing process are visible inside the blue circles. A finish nail was driven into the body at four positions to act as "feet" to elevate the body during finish spraying, and to allow it to dry. First the back side was sprayed and then the body was flipped over and suspended from the nails to allow painting of the front side. When the finish was dry enough to permit handling, the nails were removed and discarded.
