Tremolo spring cover plate
|
The tremolo spring cover plates with the round string holes were declared obsolete by Fender early in the first year of production due to the difficulty of inserting a replacement string through the round hole, and were replaced with ones having oval string holes sometime in mid 1955. The corners on this one were broken before the author acquired the instrument.
