Kurt Cobain's Mosrite Gospel Guitar Sold for $100,000 in Icons Auction

Dallas, TX - April 17, 2004. Kurt Cobain's Mark IV-style Mosrite Gospel guitar sold for $100,000 USD not including the buyer's premium, at the Icons of 20th Century Music auction held in Dallas, Texas, in conjunction with the 27th Annual Dallas Guitar Show. According to the auctioneer, it was purchased by Cobain in 1990 and often used in his performances with the group, Nirvana.
