Fender Custom Shop Master Built Thinline Strat and Tele Set

While it's true that a large part of the value of vintage Stratocasters comes from the fact that "they aren't making any more of them", the same cannot be said of non-vintage collectible Strats. These new collectibles achieve their status and value from a variety of factors unconnected with their age, such as, playability, sound, aesthetic appeal, rarity, and the fame of the luthiers who build them. The instruments below are a perfect example.

Recently crafted by famed Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, Art Esparza, this Thinline Strat and Tele set is the result of a joint design effort between Esparza and Sam Ash Custom Guitar Specialist, Steve Pisani. The one-off pair embodies all the elements most collectors (and players) look for in a non-vintage collectible.
