2004, 50th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster - Logo

2004 will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster, an event sure to be celebrated by Fender and Strat enthusiasts around the world. Previously celebrated Fender milestones include: 1979, 25th Silver Anniversary (the Stratocaster); 1989, 35th Anniversary (the Stratocaster); 1994, 40th Anniversary (the Stratocaster); and, 1996, 50th Anniversary (the Fender company).
Although Strat fans will have to wait until the upcoming January, 2004, Winter NAMM to see what special anniversary Stratocaster models will be offered, below is the logo that will be used in conjunction with the Stratocaster's 50th birthday, courtesy of Fender-Europe. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Fender company in 1996, a different, though similar "button" logo was attached to the back of the headstock of production line Stratocasters.
