EXCELLENT CONDITION Here's a beautiful 1965 Stratocaster in Leo Fender's favorite finish, Candy Apple Red. This original guitar has all the right looks and just enough vintage mojo on the finish to show it's true undercoat and beauty!

1965 was Fender's last year for the small headstock, first year for the larger frets option, transitional logo and primarily a pre-CBS guitar throughout. Pots all match and date to the 10th week of 1965. Neck dates a very clear 2 SEP 65-B. L series serial number. Great playing guitar. Very loud and resonant tone. Has a very old 5-way switched installed but original 3-way included. These are becoming almost impossible to find these days! Comes with original case shown and tremolo bar.
