Thinking Of Selling 79 Antigua Strat., Value? |

Hey.
I am thinking of selling a 1979 antigua strat that was passed on to us by family who are now living abroad. I do play guitar, but i have no need for what i understand to be quite a rarity. I know its 79ish because of the serial (S919195). It has been played over the years, as many of my family members play guitar, so the scratch plate is quite worn. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how much it would be worth if i should sell it? baring in mind it hasnt got the original fender hardcase. any help would be great, thanks. Pete. |

You should get some activity on ebay of around $1000 - $1200 for it.

That would be my guess also, depending on the condition. I've noticed I get more bids, with good close up photos also...
